Is there anyone within a couple of hours of the central coast that would be interested in helping me bend some tube? About five bends or so to tie my front bumper and cage together. I can do the welding, just don't have a bender. I know everyone is getting ready for JV. I am not in a huge hurry:)
Here is what I am looking at now. I have already bobbed and capped the bumper where I want it

I hope that Captain Ron doesn't mind but I would love for the front to come out something like this. That is sexy!!

I can pay for the help, or do trade work, or stock your beer cooler:cheers:

I bet I am too far for you, but maybe post what size, wall and type of tube?
That might make a difference as to who can help.

The cage is 1 3/4" od, 1/8" wall dom. I have not bought any tube yet, so I can get something to fit someones bender so long as it is close. Letterman, your in the bay area right? Not too far at all. I have a Lincoln 3200hd fluxcore mig I can tack everything together with and burn it in later with something bigger.

I can do it but I have 3 people in front of you, (Phil is one) with 2 kids it could be some time before I get a chance to even get to them.
Also I have the Low Buck bender it will only do 90° bends and it is a 7 inch arc on 1.75" tube.
If that will work, and you can hold off for a few months . . .
