Hobart 140 help

So I got the Hobart 140 for my grad present from my dad. I set it all up and everything today, but eather the drive rollers are bad or messed up, or I need thicker wire. So i get the wire run threw the hose to the nossel, put the tip on and cap, then apply a little force to the wire to set the tensioner, and have to put the tensioner al the way down, I thought that was a little weird. Well even with the tensioner all the way down, It dosent push the wire threw when just a litle amount of pressure is applied. Whats up with that? the drive rollers wont catch the wire and push it threw. Could it be the rollers? Or is it because Im using 030 wire and its to thin? I have always used 035 with my lincoln welders and never had a problem.

you might need to flip the roller one side is smaller than the other.

yea i run 030 wire in mine with no problem.
