Ok so i just bought a 1994 ZJ with dana 35 with the superior axle kit with arb lockers and 4.56 gearing with 31's, 46k original miles :D. Well i had to replace the pinion seal where the yoke attaches to the axle. well the shop has been through 13 seals and none of them fit properly, is there anything i should know? does this require a certain seal?

Tried calling superior? the super 35 kit might take a special seal. Did they tell you what part of it isn't fitting right? is it the OD, ID, both?

maybe the deeper than stock gear set has a larger then OEM diameter pinion. have you called the previous owner to see what brand the gears are, and tried calling that company?

thread delivers.
The fact that the shop has been through that many pinion seals and hasn't figured their shit out yet really makes me think you need to find a new shop...
