okay... Let me start with this line - The Truck is NOT mine. I will give you as much information as I have but I don't have much detail on the history of the rig.
Belongs to a co-worker - clean title. He bought the rig 15 years ago and used it to haul his Boat and Camper across the country a couple of times and went camping/fishing all over with it. He bought another (newer) truck and this one has been sitting.
1985 Ford XLT Lariat, 3/4 ton, Diesel (6.9), 4-speed Manual, 4x4, Standard Cab. I went up to Bothell (WA) and looked at it this morning. He turned the key, glow plugs came on and it fired right up. Sounded strong and the Batteries look new.

FREE! He will hold this for a week or so, then he is calling a junkman to come haul it away.

Speedometer only goes to 99,999 and he *thinks* it has rolled over a couple of times. I got in and ran through the gears letting the clutch out a few times and it felt/sounded like its a capable rig.
I did not drive it as the Tabs expired in Nov '08. What I do know...
Needs a Radiator and Heater Core. He says he replaced the Water Pump and at one time the fan went through the radiator (don't know why). He has put stop leak in and it still leaks. I would suspect a complete flush is in order.
Interior is - well for a 25 year old rig - old. He has a seat cover on it and the headliner is coming off of the back window.

Body is okay - no major damage apparent. Paint is shot but not much Rust apparent.
Tires are worn and will need to be replaced but I believe you would be able to drive this rig home provided
They have used the truck to haul Landscape supplies since he bought the new truck and I don't know if they drove it on expired tabs or what...
PM me if you are interested and I will provide contact information.
