rear door speakers

was there a year or option that came with speakers in the rear doors? they seem like they were built for it, but i have never herd of one that did.

I don't think any of the XJ's came with them in the rear doors. I believe it was either the hatch or the sound bar. I did recently have all 4 door panels off while swapping out handles and it wouldn't be too difficult to put them in the rear doors. If I ever get around to stereo stuff I'd like to 6.5"s in the kick panels, rear doors, and the sound bar.

yeah i put some 4'' eclipse speakers in the doors yesterday, you could fit a 6.5 if you got a little creative maybe. i guess amc thought they would offer them in the future so they made a perfect spot.
