Guy had it in his TJ d30, its 4 years old, but been sitting in its box for the last 2 years. He said he neevr broke anything while it was in. I keep hearing the older detroits seem to have been made better than the newer ones and well for $150 it looks good to me, but anyways here are a few pics (with ring gear still on) and I realize you can't tell a whole lot, but I just wanted to make sure a trained eye didn't catch anything before I PayPal the guy.

Looks fine. As long as he never broke an axle while this was installed, should be golden.

replace bearings, install, set backlash.
Sounds simple enough to me :)
