Another XJ disc swap Q.....

Tried searching a bunch of different terms with no luck.

Looking to do the rear disc swap on my 2k XJ with the 8.25.

I am seeing that the 96-98 ZJ rear discs are very popular but there is no mention if they are sourced from the D35 or the D44a.

Is there a difference between the axles brake parts wise that makes one a better choice?

I have someone willing to sell me a complete D44a to take the parts from but I don't want to get wrapped up into it if it will not work.

no theres no difference they both have all the same parts if it helps i got my backing plates and caliper brackets off a D44a zj and they worked the only thing you have to mod is grind out the center hole a little bit with a die grinder then they fit right on. hope this helps
