I'm also considering it. I asked them about shipping and never received an answer? the design is great. I wonder if it's modular? or one piece?

I like that design. If I had found something like this a couple years ago I would have done it, I like the idea a lot better than a normal rack. But now my plans are to build a hybrid cage, so I may end up building something like this into it.

i was considering it. I guess if you want you spare on the roof, it probably the best option out there.

i heard that the spare tire mount has broken off before on someone....

Thinking this might be something I would put on my XJ in a few months. Just wanted to see if anyone has been using it on their rig? Have their front bumper and really like it.

Need to find a better place to mount the spare as I cant keep the swing away tire carrier latch from getting loose and rattling (and driving me nuts).

Wow that looks awesome!

wow that really cool! I honestly think a lifted cherokee looks better with a rack. Was considering the top hat, or a surco.

Just saved upwards of $300 by making my own snorkel, so maybe this is where that cash will go!

I just went this route. I like the fact that it can be used as a rack AND protects the edges of your roof as well. I'm trying to find the pics I took after I installed it but,,,,,,

Which one would be easier to install?

JCR clamp to the gutter

The other one may need to be mod...

Personally, I think $300 is pretty expensive for that little roof rack. I spent my money on the Detours Tailbone instead to hole the tire on the back, plus give me great recovery points and a base to build a bumper off of.

The last thing you need is a 100 lb tire on the roof to raise your CoG. If I had my spare on the roof, there's a good chance I would have rolled my Jeep a few times this past weekend.

I would highly doubt it. JCR makes quality stuff.
