dana 30 question

i cant recall where i read this but, i read that volvo's came with dana 30's front and rear. Some came with a lsd from the factory.

is there some truth behind this? or am i misinformed?

I think I heard the same thing, and that the D30s in the Volvos are craptastic and Volvo guys get replacements from XJs.
