Is is possible to replace the e-brake shoes without pulling the shafts on an 8.8. I took everything down to half mast today, and tried getting tools in there to take care of stuff, but it looks like it would be way easier to do it with the axle shafts out.
Now, I wouldn't mind doing this but I just put $40 of synthetic gear lube in there. I don't want to crack the diff and have to refill just for e-brake stuff.
So, does anyone have any tricks to sneak the e-brake pads on?
