every time i turn my jeep on it makes some messed up noises then i messed around with it and its the electric fan. does i need a new one? :repair:

what kind of noises is it making? what exactly is the fan doing? Some more info would help us a lot sancho.

its just spinning and making a noise like if its hitting something or if its loose but is not..

How are your motor mounts??

is your xj the newer one or the older one?? if its older you may look into getting a new electric fan anyways since the summer is coming....

motor mounts are good. its an 89 xj
so i might just get a new fan

the 99+ i believe are the good ones. they move alot more air and its a direct fit.

keep looking though, it may not be the fan (fans arent cheap)....

no its the fan cuz i unplugged it and the noise went away and i plug it in and the noise starts
