1.Looks dont have anything to do with performance but i just would like something knew to look at. I want to take all the chrome off my 87 laredo. Around the windshield and such. Does this look like crap? Should i just paint over it when i repaint it?
2.Have a set of aluminum wheels that are nice and bright. What do i have to do to make black paint stick?
Thanks for all the help

I just got done painting the chrome stuff on my 96. I did the grill, bezels, mirrors. I swapped out the handles for black ones as well as the bumpers. I used a Scotch Bright pad to rough up the surface and then cleaned all the pieces really well. My window trim was already black.

I've done wheels before. Same deal really. Prep is key. Sand them down and get them rough. Prime them and then paint. Good luck.
