1987 xj limited security system?

does this year jeep have a factory alarm system and how can i check to see if it does and how do i bypass it?

I guess the lame answer is find the wiring and remove it. The P.O. of my '88 had an aftermarket alarm installed. I found bits and pieces of it near the hatch, under the dash/hood. I've just been cutting them off...

Not factory but possibly dealer installed.
