Please help with R upper shock mount ideas!

So the upper shock mounts In my 99 are toast. ( driver side mostly) I had welded in the swaybar brackets, and they ripped out (floorpan is rotted and soft as a mofo back there. I thought about the JKS crossover mount that bolts into the "frame rails" but called and they say they work on 4.5ish and up. Im at about 3.5. Anybody make anything thats similar without cutting the floor and running the shocks up into the cabin. Id love a bit of guidance here!

nah, its been where it is for a couple years and im happy. Goes anywhere i want and i dont feel like getting into a SYE and all the other issues. Anyone ever have to deal with this? I hate NY and salt.

how far out from the shock mount area is it soft from rust?
How about finding another cherokee being parted out and cut out the rear mount area from it and weld into yours?

Cross Enterprises makes a rear shock set up that mounts differently than the JKS one. Might be worth a look/call. http://home.earthlink.net/~crossent/CrossJeep.html
