Unofficial trip.....

Who would be up for a trip down to Clayton, Oklahoma this summer for a run? I have not wheeled Clayton before and have heard good things....and am prepared for carnage. I am also throwing around the idea of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Both are about the same distance or hours on teh road, so it is a toss up. If anyone has interest in one or both of these places, please post up and lets see if we can get an unofficial trip planned for this summer. Lets please keep this thread on target and not cluttered up with a bunch of "I wish I could but cant" kind of crap.....

I was thinking around late June so it would not be so hot as if we went in July or August...but I am open to ideas. I may be able to go as early as early June if I get all the beans planted in time (which should not be a problem this year I hope).

ill be at SMORR june 10ish for their run, its about 45min east of springfield. I think of a few of us from the Red River are gonna be up there, would love to finally wheel with you. If not-i know some guys around here that want to hit clayton and i have some passes for superlift and know some guys that are always willing to go there. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I am hoping to go with my local club to Clayton in Oct 21-24 if everything works out. You could always join us Tyler or anyone else for that matter.

Thanks Tyler and Blake. I will keep both those dates in mind. Tyler, I am thinking I might make it down to SMORR on the 10th of June if funds allow this many trips this year.

I have been thinking about seeing some of my family down in AR. littlerock a trip to hot springs was on my mind for that trip that wouldnt be till late aug though, i dont think i can make it down there any earlier cause the wife is about to pop out a kiddo soon here and i should stick around for that right :cool:

the RRC usually has an informal run at SuperLift around the first of october-if you guys want to hold on for that. Blake is it the KCJeepClub thats going to clayton? I might see if the guys that normally go to superlift would want to shift over to clayton for that run. Theres some guys in that club that i went to school with and would love to wheel with.

Tyler ill be at SMORR if i can get my front gears replaced! I'm just going to go ahead and plan on you being there-maybe i could pick up my paperweight tcase you've been holding onto for awhile now ha.

I may try to get in on the SMORR Trip and the Clayton trip if I can. Oh yeah, and I am ALWAYS down for a Superlift (Hot Springs) trip if anyone decides to make it down. I can show you guys around there. I have some awesome new trails for us to run next time you are down to Hot Springs Tyler.
