The stocker headlights on my 98 are terrible, I was used to a svt focus with HIDS and obviously they dont even compare. I was thinking of getting the Delta headlight conversion with the Xenon bulbs, from Quadratec. The price is about what i want to spend, $80 or the Halogen bulbs are $65. Anyone try these, pros cons, or is there anything else out there in that range?

Yeah I was looking at these too because one of my silverstars burnt out last night so now I have one OEM and one silverstar. Check out this thread though. http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=100639 Someone on there has a nice H4 bulb conversion and it looks pretty good to me.

You can buy diamond cut headlights with pretty white H4 bulbs for like...$50 shipped give or take. Since it uses an H4 setup I bought some, and a 6000K HID conversion kit from ebay also.
I want them so bad :)

Do you have a link to which ones they are and what do you think of them? How do they compare to silverstars?

You should try a harness upgraid before anything else. That with Silverstars, and a nice set of driving lights was all I ran for years 'till I ponied up for the CIEBI E-code lenses, and 85/90w Orsum bulbs from Daniel Stern (http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html)

I bought a set of diamond cut H4s for less than $30 from ebay. Keep watching the auctions for the cheap ones. They come with a "cool" blue bulbs, but with the harness upgrade, the lights do work fairly nice.

im too lazy for the harness upgrade unless its all plug and play, who sells good kits, the Deltas just seem easy and cheap, still no one use em??

I run the IPF's and love them. I put about 25,000 night miles on last year and I was happy I had good lights.

Anyone have results yet on this? I'm also looking into doing this since my silverstars also burned out after only 8 months. I also noticed there are Rampage H4 conversions for 10 bux more than the delta...anyone have any opinions experience w/ either?

I bought the Delta Tech H4 conversion with the halogen bulbs and they are quite a bit brighter than stock. I have not been high-beam flashed by oncoming traffic in the 4 months I have been running them. My next upgrade will be replacing the stock wiring harness.

X2 except I am running Narva 90/100w Bulbs from him
Far and away best lights out there. Way better then even the HID conversions I have seen and far less money.

poorly aimed or poorly manufactured lights often cause blinding glare to oncoming drivers. They voice their displeaseure by flashing their highbeams at you.
