I wanted to ensure you were aware of a public meeting called by GovernorBrewer to exchange information and discuss “Arizona’s Renewable EnergyFuture.” I will be there and I hope you can join the dialogue. The meeting will take place Thursday, April 15 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm atASU Skysong, 1475 North Scottsdale Rd., Suite 150, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Pursuant to Governor Brewer’s commitment to establish Arizona as “the worldleader” in renewable energy, the April 15th meeting will convene panels ofexperts representing various governmental and non-governmentalstakeholders.
Topics include: An Update on Issues Identified at February 2010 ArizonaGovernment Plenary Session; A Review of Pending Arizona State Permittingand Licensing Applications Relating to Renewables; A View from Germany andthe European Union; A Look at the Activities of Other States; How theFederal Government “Stimulus” is Affecting the Arizona Renewables Industry;Areas the Private Sector Would Like for Arizona Government to Address GoingForward. The day will close with a question-and-answer session open to thepublic. Please share this information with others who may have interest.
