I am installing a new Ford 9" rearend into my '92 cherokee in place of the 8.25" rear end. This is a crate rear end from Currie Enterprises and is a direct bolt in except for the hard brakes lines. I was wondering if anybody has done a similar swap and if the hard lines for the rear brakes can be swapped between the two or if I have to bend and flare new lines. Thanks.

You bought an axle from Currie, but your asking here? I would say call Currie and ask them, they built the axle. I have a Ford 9 in mine, but its all custom, I did the brake lines myself when I put the disc's on it.

I'd call Currie.

My bake lines bolted up to the YJ line on the rear of my XJ. However, mine was out of a Bronco and not from Currie.
