My dad owns a house in Stansbury that I was going to put a new roof on before winter, the plywood is so bad I'm afraid it won't last the winter, but every company I try to get out to do the brunt of the work is too busy and won't even look at it. It needs shingles torn off of about a 30x20' area and 3-4 sheets of plywood replaced, I figure with 3-4 guys it will take about 3-4 hours.

Any takers? I've already got a dump trailer lined up for next weekend and myself and at least one other person there. Lunch, coffe and donuts provided of course.

This will HAVE to take place next weekend so that I can shingle it over Thanksgiving (the weekend after next) and it's bad enough that I really don't want it to go through any more rainstorms.

Thanks, given the great rep this chapter has for roofing, I'm sure this will be a hit :D

No prob, I've got 3 guys thus far and it's a pretty small job so we should be ok, but another guy or two would be great.

I might be able to help. My work is in the process of switching me from every other weekend off to a six on two off schedule. Im not sure when its going to take effect.

Right now that is my weekend off. I will keep you posted.

It should be perfect roofing weather this weekend if anyone is interested. This is only a 4/12 pitch and most of it is single story.

Ryan, do you have any left-over nails I can buy from you? I don't want to buy a full bucket of platic-capped nails if I can avoid it. Coil nails too if you have some of those left.

Thanks-

Use my nailer, too, if Ryan hasn't shipped it back to me yet. I'm still hoping I'll never need to use it again, but I'm sure I will someday...

We've still got it. Let us know if you want it.

Well, I told Ryan I'd like it back by X-mas, not that I have any plans for it then either.

So, if someone else can use it out there, by all means, pass it around. Just give it a couple drops of oil before each use and it should be good to roof the whole IC :D

That would be great, I will be able to run two nailers that way. I still have to roof my house next spring sometime, but that isn't an emergency. This one in Tooele County is unfortunately.

Ryan wanted me to tell you that we have a little more than a box of the capped nails and only one maybe two rolls of nails left that you are more than welcome to...no charge.

Let me know what you want to do. Ryan probably isn't going to be home much this week and the only night that I'm going to he home this week is Thursday.

Excellent, thanks.

Maybe you can just leave them next to the garage and I'll pick them up either Thursday or Friday after work?
