I HATE UPS!!!

I built a bumper for a guy in Tennessee and get a shipping quote from the UPS website, a little over a C-note. Not too shabby, right? I figure that into the cost and took the bumper to the UPS Service Center this afternoon....where they promptly greased me up and stuck me solid for another Fifty Bones. My reaction:

Seems they tacked on a "Large Package Fee."


Time to find a new freight company....someone that won't charge more for handling my Large Package.:shhh:

i've always found fedex to be much cheaper. i shipped an arb bumper to alabama for $80. however, a couple of months ago they dinged me an extra $15 for shipping some leaf springs not packaged.
