Now I know that some people are real crazy in this country.
Blame a clown for kids being overweight, now I've seen it all.

This is not a joke or is it?

Sounds like what Camel went through with Joe Camel a few years back. If they go after Ronald, then they need to go after "The King", Jack from Jack-in-the-box, and whatever other goofy spokespersons there are. Gotta protect the fat ass little buggers from the mean advertisers, ya know. It couldn't possibly be mommy and daddy's fault for letting them eat the garbage in the first place.

Fast food could disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't shed a tear.

Okay, we'll keep IN & OUT, but only if they open a few stores in Montana. :D

In & out is not fast food. Every location is a national landmark.

Fast food burgers? Wendy's rocks (Long Live the Baconator!)

While I agree that most of the adverts are terminally and irretrievably stupid - and are repeated ad nauseum! - I will not agree that "spokesmen" are responsible for childhood obesity, underage smoking/drinking, or whatever.

It's parenting, you jackasses! If you did your job, you would have fat kids that smell like smokes!

My two boys? Both were quite fit all through adolescence, and still keep themselves up (working in trades and playing hockey will do that...) I was rather fitter before I got clobbered, but I'm still in better shape (according to my physicians) than I have any right to expect at this point.

I get so damned tired of hearing people redirecting blame externally - when all they have to do to find out who's at fault for what is to usually just look in the mirror. Makes me wonder how these men can shave in the morning...

I take comfort in knowing that when zombies do finally rise and take over the world, the fatter ones are going to be the first to go. With that said I need to maintain my physique for when the time comes.

Rule 1: Cardio: This one comes up in Zombieland and clearly makes a lot of sense. How many fat people do you see at the end of the world when its zombies doing the ending?

Personal note: you do not have to be a fast runner, you just have to be faster than the person next to you.

I AM in shape--round is a shape, right?

Well, one nice thing, no matter what stupid laws/rules they pass, the Heart Attack Grill here in Phoenix won't have to go out of business unless the outlaw food that's bad for you/food that tastes good. They do have truth in advertising on their side.
