Bought these JKS shackles and directions say to mount JKS decal forward, is this correct??? Opinions???

That doesn't seem right to me considering the shape of the shackles.

nope you want the crook of the shackle facing toward the rear core support.
Bolt one in without the leaf and swing it through its range of motion. you will see how it hits on the rear core support worse one way than the other

nope, thats right. the angle of the shackle is there to clear the rear crossmember

JKS' directions are correct. Those are "boomerang" shackles and the slight "V" notch in the back allows for a bit more movement backwards in the shackle box when the leaf packs compress. :thumbup:

It had me scratching my head when I went to install them as well. However, that is the correct way to mount them.
