transmission fluid leak

Hi;

i can see some fluid leak at the linakge connection to the transmission gearbox on my 1998 jeep cherokee; auto; 6 cyliner.

The fluid seems to drip from the linkage conenction , is it a seal which needs to be replaced, ?
is this an easy situation to fix.what parts would i require ?

any suggestions on how to approach this task would be appreciated.
