new exhaust has small leak not sure what my best option is

I just finnished replacing everything from my catalitic converter to tail pipe with a custom exhaust but where I slid on the new pipe, just before the catalitic converter I have a leak....i clamped it down tight but there is still a leak.

Im wondering If i used some exhaust cement or whatever it is called would that seal the leak?

or should i just try clamping it down harder?

or should I pay to get someone to weld the pipe in..i was trying to do it without welding

+1 should not cost much at all... On my lowered truck (Dont shoot me) lol I had my exhaust ran threw the cross member and tucked in bent and everything custom for my truck and all welded up (Had to buy the pipe and pay for the bending and welding) And it was only 120

its not really the cost im worried about I just wanted to be able to remove it

Its not hard to cut exhaust tubing? Why do you need it removable?

Band clamp. Despite everything I've read on here, most of the exhausts I've had welded broke, and nothing at a shop in town is cheap- the last bit of tweaking and a new muffler cost me more than my Dynomax catback, and it leaks worse than it did before they "fixed" it. Something like this is my Plan C.

I have never had a problem with welded exhaust on anything.. Guess i am just lucky lol
