Valve cover gasket ?

Simple and easy question...

Are all valve cover gaskets on 4.0 I6 Cherokees the same? I got a head gasket kit from a 96 I bought, and could really use the valve cover gasket on my 89. Wasn't sure if there were any slight modifications or what...

I know the 89 valve cover gasket is different from the 98 gasket. I didn't get it to fit on mine with the stock renix valve cover, but I haven't tried it with the valve cover from a newer jeep that i have on it now.

After looking the parts up on the Napa website the 96 uses the same gasket as the 98.

Ya, I just still had the kit from when I bought it to do the head gasket in my 96 before I parted it out instead.
