we are thinking about taking some vacation time and have slight proplem.

she wants to go sight-seeing or hiking or something like that.........and..........
i wanna go wheeling.

so i brought up the idea of finding a place where we could go wheeling through some real nice country side/mountains or something like that. kinda like hiking but with wheels. she thought that sounded like a cool idea.

so........do you guys have any good recommendations, or is anybody willing to take us out on a country side wheeling tour???

PS: if you have any pics you could post of some of that country side wheeling, it would help in persuading her. :)

u cant beat Moab. Lots of shopping available in town. Beautiful landscape no matter where you wheel.

My wife is the same. So she either stays in town while I wheel or we go together and do half / half.

Headquarter out of Ouray Colorado. Lots of neat trails with spectacular views and lots of get out and hike opportunities.

We are holding ColoradoFest next year near there and will be splitting wheeling groups between the Ouray area and much harder areas to the south.

California, you could wheel JV, hit the backcountry of Death Valley, the Mojave Road, Big Bear, you name it.
