So stripped steering wheel bolt in my 2000.

Trying to use a die, but it isn't working. Now its a rounded end and some threads.

Any other options besides new column? Two things that came to my mind:

1. Use a c clip next to the steering wheel.
2. Cut the bolt down by 1/3rd and then use the remaining threads. However I don't know the size of the bolt, anyone?

Been a long day.

use a die and cut all new smaller dia. threads into it, then use a nut and thick washer to hold the steering wheel on the column? thats the only thing i can think of without replacing the column. Also might wana use a drop of locktite on the nut to make sure it doesnt slowly unthread itself
