Looking for a pair of doors for a 2 dr XJ. Would be going on a 93 so IIRC anywhere up to a 95 or so used the same hinge/striker. Color doesn't matter, condition doesn't really matter though I would prefer they are not absolutely beat to hell. Power vs no power options doesn't matter. Hopefully somewhere close to Halifax, MA

Yes. That was the plan.

I saw a 2 door green XJ that was at Standard auto wrecking in Worcester MA while I was taking some parts off another XJ for my ride. I took a picture of it because they are hard to come by these days. The stock number is YY7696 and I can send you a picture of it if you PM me your e-mail address. I don't know what the shape of the doors are. Also they may charge big bucks for them.

That's why I figured I would check on here first. IIRC most junkyards want top dollar for the doors esp if they are in nice shape.

Check Craiglist in north shore in MA. there is a guy parting out a black two door with roll up windows. But it is a 1998.

eh, a 98 would be more work to swap over. I would rather deal with an earlier door.
Billy, IIRC you mentioned the doors before somewhere... but I can't remember price. How much would you want for them?

Do you work there or what? They've never let me pull my own parts over at Standard and they charge WAY more than Sam's pull-a-part down the street so I usually go there.
You ever see the lifted red XJ that parks over by Standard sometimes? I think it's someone who works there but I'm not sure.

I don't work at Standard Auto Wrecking. Guess they trusted me, lol. My XJ is a Stock 99 white limited with the Vanity plate "XJTHNG"

i have a stripped set with no windows and no interior panels too. Those would work perfectly for you. how does 30 for the pair sound?

Perfection. Now I just gotta find some time to get out to western MA with a vehicle that can fit the doors. Unless of course you are going to find yourself in eastern MA for some ungodly reason in the coming month.
Actually I'm tempted to try and get out to pick them up this wk if possible. I want something to work on this wkend and I may not have all the stuff needed to do my steering by then.
