That might be cool. There is RAC land in trevorton, although I'm not sure exactly what they own.

Yes it certainly is the same place. All owned by Reading Anthracite. If you want to wheel any of their land you need to buy a permit. I live here and this is where I wheel.

And if you get caught without a permit you will get fined. The state police have been out there with cherokees. I have been stopped once a few years ago. The local cops like to sit at the entrances and bust people sometimes as well.

Lots of small lakes, also an old drinking reservoir that some people boat in. Tons of mud and lots of hillclimbs. Not a whole lot of rock climbing, but there is everything else.

Sounds like an easy enough thing to handle... buy a permit.

Things to be aware of (i.e. :nono:) highlighted.

A hundred bucks for the year isn't that bad if you go a bunch, I guess.

They are getting more strict. People have been setting up campers and campeing for the weekend and trashing the place. Plus a lot of people are drinking and then wrecking. Last year there was at least 5 people that had to be helicoptered to the hospital because they were being retards. I am noticing more cops sitting near entry points lately too.

You're better off getting a permit and being sensible. My best friend got busted for trespassing out there by a state trooper in an XJ a couple years ago.

As usual... wheeling illegally is bad. I'm not sure why this is even discussed.

I agree. That's why people should just buy a permit.

LOL, Ok then thanks. That would be a nice thing, as now there are places I don't even bother with anymore because of all the people every weekend.
