Zombie-radiator!

This has been living (somehow) under my hood all winter. I finally got around to replacing it with a CSF unit the other day because, well, strangely enough I had no overheating problem. What you see in the pic isn't damage from removing it -- I carefully lifted it out and this was the condition it was in. (The puddle is only from the drain being open).



I've seen a lot of car-part death in my time, but this is unholy . . .

The one in my MJ is like that, I've got a spare waiting around to go in as soon as it gives me a hint of overheating or leaks at all. Figure I'll get every last mile I can out of it...

Not bad, but I have seen worse.

Can you run your fingernail along the fins and have them crumble and fall out?
