I was headed to class yesterday around 4:20, and in my rear view spotted a lifted XJ, Headed westbound on 376, right before the Libberty tunnel exit.

98+ Classic maroon,
Sat somewhere around 3-4in?
31's or so?
Stock wheels (Grey)

Any one know this dude? Had a NAXJA sticker on the back window. (I slowed down to wave/checkout his rig.)

Wanted to toss out the invite to head over to www.pgh-offroad.com we wheel alot, nice to see more lifted XJ's out there.

I hope this thing isnt street only...

Yeah, that was me, I haven't been on here as much as I used to be, works is a little hectic this time of year. I do rerember seeing you on my way to work that day. Sorry, didn't mean to be rude, I was a little late for work. Thanks for the note, I've checked that site out a few times, but haven't had a chance to get out as much as I may like. I'll definitely check it out more often, always good to get out and play.

wish I knew more myself. I got started wheeling in the badlands in attica when I was at Purdue, I moved out here about 2 years ago. I've since been to paragon and the rest of what I've done has been with HRJA (www.hrja.org (http://www.hrja.org)). I've played around on some access roads for pipelines (legality???) and powerlines around Indiana, PA. Wish I knew of more places to go myself. Open to suggestions like XJay96 has about more opportunities around the Pgh area. Anyone knows of any, pls let me know, it's good to hear from others around here, I'll be certain to share any info I get with you guys.
BTW, I didn't have much of a chance to read the comments on this post before I responded before. NO, it is not a street rig. Mine is naked right now as well, doesn't fit in the UPMC garages with the rack on top, and I would also like to know of any good salvage yards in the area for some parts (discs for the rear, front DS for the SYE I need, etc...). Thanks guys, look forward to seeing you on the trails.

It's a Kargpmaster. My brother got it for me about 2 years ago, I think from 4WD Hardware if I remember correctly. I believe it is 50"x50". It's nice on the trails or traveling, not much room inside with my stuff for work or all the stuff for my 8 mo old. Generally take the upper most portion off when I don't need it, saves on gas. I drive at least 80 miles/day to work and back so every little bit helps.
