aux input

hi all my first time here from across the pond england, i have just recently bought a cherokee jeep 4l auto 1999 and im looking at trying to convert the cd boot changer to accept a aux input for my i pod ,dvd player etc. Does anyone know a cost effective way of tapping into the signal return wires from the cd changer to the head unit ? i have seen a module to buy but would like to save myself some valuable pound notes for the other essentials like tyres etc any help would be much appreciated

by boot I assume you mean the cargo area.

Try asking around on some audio sites if you don't get an answer here. Same radio in your XJ was used in most chrysler cars from the mid 90s - 02? at least.
