I just know that would break some hearts where i grew up, or anywhere in the rust belt. finding a cherokee with rocker panels was a treat, let alone one with no rust! and i cut one up!

I like the idea. It would be nice to see pics and specs of different rigs

would rigs originating from parts other than arizona and are rustbuckets be considered?

And here I thought everyone knew not to expect much from current BOD.
Stu.. Yep If BOD knew anything about club functions, protocols, or anything about this club, you can run for ROTM. I'd vote for you but I'm not sure if I can since I've gone black.

Anyone can vote in the ROTM, just need to be a red letter member to run.
I wanted to send a reminder PM to the Chapter BOD but since there is no chapter information post in your stickies about who your BOD is and what the chapter boundaries are I just let it slide. Participation in the special chapter shootout ROTM was voluntary.
Keep an eye out for the official ROTM submission thread in the pic showcase at the beginning of each month if you want to run in the normal contest.

Well, it seems that we have some interest in participating in the ROTM contest. We will have a thread for the April ROTM. I will look through the rest of the chapters and see what most of them are doing as far as how many submissions and what not.
Also, in the future, if there is interest in doing something please feel free to PM your B.O.D. and we can all work together on this.

I don't see any of the members jumping into the mix to help make things better.. All I see is pissing and moaning about this or that.. Why not be pro active and step up to help ?
I'm happy with the way things are around here.. that's why I keep comming back and $$.

April will be back to normal for the ROTM.
Also, that last line of your post holds quite a lot of truth. If you really want something to happen, make it known, and even volunteer to handle it yourself.

I enjoy the club and chapter too, thats why I stick around and continue paying too, however I see other chapters much more involved. As far as taking the initiative... Personally I dont want to step on toes.. I believe the current BOD should be on conducting chapter participation...
I know both the Pres and VP; both good guys and great to wheel with, but Im not going to start something that is suppose to be conducted by the BOD. You pick up what Im putting down? :D

Is there a chapter position sort of like an ambsador or a sub BOD?

We have appointed special positions before for event planning. I think that maybe since this IS an election year, we could see about getting an elected position to go along with a new Prez and Vice Prez and Treasurer.

Chapter BOD performance has been sub-par. I've even stepped up myself and organized most of last years event. I even presented a lot of ideas and projects and relayed things chapter members would like to see to BOD. It seems every response was "great!...Now get to work" or lets work on that later.... The lack of initiative and drive from leadership has left me a bit disenchanted. With the tools and info available to the BOD a lot of could be accomplished with just a little effort. I'm not going to just step in and take over someone else's job they were elected to do. Especially when the tools I need are not available. Chapter VP seems to be the only one taking any active roll in this chapters governance. I really doubt adding more cheifs to our already lacking number of indians will help fix anything. Most of the tools and progression of this chapter has to come the seat of the chapter president.
Oh and I re-upped my membership not because of this chapter. I coughed up the dough for the Den.
