1997 xj up country 4 door 4.0 auto. looks like it was a cop car or government??? it also has an ext idol switch,non carpet I didnt get the ratio its white with gray inside.dark tinted windows. its hit on the right front fender,head light mounting panal,hood,bumper,left fender is also damaged but I think the nose is pushed to the drivers side. its at b&r in corvallis Or I can get pic if wanted.

there is a sticker in one of the rear windows that I saw and it looks like it sits higher than most I have seen.

yes i work at the wrecking yard. and they may sell it whole I have not asked. it has only been there sence about 4:30 pm.


I did chech the ratio and it has 3.55 and a 35 rear. I was on a tow so I stopped by and looked.

John, Is there an XJ Up Country?? I have a ZJ UC but have never heard of an XJ. Just curious.

IIRC, XJ Up Country models sat a little higher due to stiffer springs, and didn't have a rear sway bar.

Yes, Upcountry package came on XJ's. I have never seen a sticker. Easily identified by running VIN, or if it sits higher and has no rear swaybar it probably is one.

less than a year old, not to bad. ya I still work at the wrecking yard, mostly driving tow trucks.I think that xj has been crushed. I myself (not B&R) have a 96 parts xj that has been rolled.
