roll while in park

Im not sure if i should list this here or not, but i feel that my jeep rolls back and fourth too much while in park, it moves about a foot foreward and backward whil in park and turned off, sometimes it also has a loud clunk when i put it in drive??

Replace the parking pawl inside the trans.

Check the u joints in the rear driveshaft. Also play in the differential.

Check all pieces between the AW4 and the diff including the TC for wear. I would also recommend the use a proper working parking breaks when on a hill. I use my park breaks all the time just to avoid the clunk you sometimes get when shifting out of park.
