Warning the F bomb is dropped several times in the video.
Threw it in 4x4 and was going to drive it home on the bare wheels.. made it a couple miles, fuel tank started dumping gas and lost fuel pressure. Had to leave it in the woods, will be back with a trailer tomorrow.

How did you hit the poles? That sucks!

Came down the hill going 40-45mph (used to rally on this road often last summer). By the time I saw the poles it was too late, missed them with the front end but my rear DS tire caught the pole. The pole was actually rolled over about a foot!!

I must say, you were remarkably well composed considering the situation you were in! Bravo, way to keep your cool. BTW, are YOU okay? The jeep obviously isn't :(

Shoulder is a bit sore from the seatbelt, along with my back. Other than that I'm alright. Anticipating being sore tomorrow...
Anybody have a 96 cherokee for sale?? lmao

I suggest this gentleman be the "mold" for the next marvel or dc superhero - half Superman, half MacGyver. The guy just rolled his jeep going 40-45 mph, after which he rolled it back over with his own two hands because the winch drained the battery!

Go for a 95 if you like the old body style or a 99 if you want the new style. 96 is a red headed stepchild electrically AND has the new slip yoke design on the transfer case so you are more likely to need an SYE even with a short lift.
Looks like it sucked, though I suspect it could be fixed if you really really wanted to. What's the damage report? Looks like windshield, rearend+tires, brake system, header panel, most of the passenger side, gas tank, shocks, and some bumper damage to me, how's the transmission/drivetrain?

Tranny seems alright. Rear hatch is destroyed, plus the dent in the roof.
Already have an SYE on this jeep. I'd just swap it over.
I am pissed about the gas tank, I have $1200 into that bastard.
Lift on it is a 5.5 rubicon express long arm, front has an ARB locker, and an LSD in the rear. 4.56 gears. Lots of other mods.
I've beaten on this jeep HARD for ~4+ years now. I think the best option would be to find another and swap the good parts over.

Wow, that wide of a road and you happened to hit one of two 18in diameter poles at the edge of the road. What are the chances? Glad you're ok dude i bet that wasn't fun at 45 mph.

Rear is/was a Chrysler 8.25 with 4.56 gears and an LSD.

That was probably a really cool drift, right up till the rear tire hit that pole,... Ouch.

Hmm.. I learned to carry a set of good tools, ANCHORED down. I usually do but didn't have them with me this time. Same with a spare tire.
Also don't hit powerline poles going 40+ MPH.

I'd almost say two spare tires and a spare rearend... :roflmao:
Would be pretty tough to fit in the back though.

Starter fluid, a lighter and a large plug kit would fix the two spare issue.
