Starting a thread for discussion of 'wheeling' routes in Whatcom County. I'm thinking of things like good vistas, logging and national forest roads.

Please keep route suggestions legal to the best of your knowledge.

For example-

Destination: Stewart Mt. (N 48.77876 W 121.99450)
Route: Take Mosquito lake road to NF 38, road to summit is a left at N 48.76255 W 122.01618
Views: Mt. Baker and Twin Sisters Range
Difficulty: Easy w/o snow. Snow makes it more difficult. Rock crawling opportunities along the way.

Destination: Sumas Mountain
Route: Take logging road west off of Mt. Baker Hwy at N 48.89192 W 122.15003, keep heading up hill at each turn on the logging road.
Views: Mt. Baker to the East, Bellingham Bay to the West.
Features: Rock quarry
Difficulty: Easy
