Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? I got some overspray on my fender while painting my trim with some Krylon Fusion, and the guy at Checker suggested trying Goof Off to remove it.

it'll work but be really careful with it cause it'll take the good paint too if you use too much or rub too hard

Would trying a clay brick be less risky while still getting the job done? I've heard a lot of praise for them.

use clay bar.. i detail as a hobby to make money.. clay can be used for bugs, tar, tree sap. I removed yellow road paint from the side of a white ford explorer using a clay bar. took some work but the finished product showed 0 signs of yellow paint.

Top Solved. A guy at one of these car wash/detailing places used it on my XJ... magical!

how bad is the overspray? for most instances of overspray ive had, ive just been able to use a damp sponge and elbow grease. a little soap for tougher parts

I've usually used the edge of a thin sheet of acrylic or polycarbonate to "scrape" the paint off (you'll still scuff the colour coat, but it's recoverable.)
You can also try a clay bar, or some polishing compound (make sure it's 'clearcoat safe' - it's a safe bet you have a clearcoat over your colour coat, if your colour coat is good enough to still care about.)
I don't like using solvents on colour coat - but I did work in a body shop (prep, strip, and sand) for a while, and I've seen some nasty solvents and what they can do to you...
