May be a long shot but I got nothing to lose, right?

So I am picking up an MJ this weekend...

...Problem is that it has to be towed to my place and according to U-haul my buddies truck can only handle a dolly (plus MJ). The problem lies with the fact that I think the MJ rear axle is welded so a dolly might not work too well.

So anyone have a bolt in rear axle for an MJ that they want to let go of cheap? Any axle would be good.

Though if someone happens to have an 8.25 or 8.8 that is set up for an MJ and has 4.10s in it... I would likely to be a bit more willing to pay more than "cheap" :D

lock the steering and pull it from the rear?

Thought about that, but the front Dshafts are shot so that might not be an option, not to mention that I wasn't even sure if that was possible.

But I think I am all set now. I ended up getting a call from Uhaul today to confirm my order and I canceled the dolly but had this guy (a local guy) check the F150 again. The first guy did something wrong and the F150 is OK to pull the full "auto transport". So I am good to go

Though I am still interested in an MJ rear axle if anyone has one. This will be my DD and I want to lose the locked turdy5. So if anyone does have an axle I am still interested.

I'll help you pull whatever axle you want at Sams, standard "I'm bored and it's Saturday" deal applies there, but I got nothin' set for an MJ :dunno:

Cool, that would probably result in me getting an 8.8. We will have to see though.

I just found an already pulled 8.8 with 4.10s... $175. I think I am picking that up soon.

that's overpaying, unless all the brake hardware is perfect.
