Rear leaf spring Ques ?

The mileage on my 2000 XJ is about 148,000. I recently installed new shocks but not the leaf springs and the truck looks like its sagging still. Should I replace the leaf springs or look into those straight load lifter leaf springs (kinda like add-a-leaf) to remedy this ?

Shocks do nothing to support the weight of your vehicle. An add-a-leaf might help for awhile, but replacing the leaf springs is the way to go.

cheap/easy/customizable way = bastard pack from XJ/S10/Dakota/Van/F150/etc leafs, time and trial will get you the lift and ride you want.

pricy way = hit up a sponsor for some new leaf packs

mucho $$ way = call deaver springs and have them build you a pack to suit your needs.
