Where in the south part of Salt Lake County do you license and get a inspection for the license done? Moving to the Draper area this month and could use the advice of some of the SLC XJ'ers on where to get this done. I have a copy of the UT state inspection reg's and think I have done everything to comply with the reg's. Anybodys help would be appreciated.

Welcome! I'm not much help for you in the SLC area, I know lots of shops up North. Lots of SLCers here so you should get some tips for inspection shops soon. Geepfreak will be happy to add you to the roster of Lehi XJers....BTW, if he invites you over and asks you to bring a shovel.....kindly decline. :laugh:

were in draper are you gonna be? there are only a few shops around there that do it.

Welcome to this part of the world.......where did you come form?

I notice in your signature that your going to move to Lehi? if so that would be in Utah county, not SLC county and....at least, it us to be,( been about 10 years, since i have live there!) the I/m standers were different....Maybe some one can educate us both.:dunno:

There is a place in Sandy called Just Inspections inc. It is located on the corner of 10600 S. and 700 E. They will also get your stickers for you for a minimal fee. If you need plates you have to go to the DMV.

There's a shop here in Lehi, that's 4x4 freindly. PM me for details..
Oh, and you busy for a few hours this afternoon?, I have a front yard needing to be put back together..:D

Hey Tom, great to see your moving down south. I saw your rig in Moab this spring, you should not have any problems getting it inspected just about anywhere in the state. Hope to see you soon!

Thanks for all the replies. I'm renting a Townhouse in Draper on the south side up on the hill, working in Lehi at IMFT. It's a transfer from Micron Boise. Moving during November and starting work in December but sadly missing the IC Xmax dinner by 4 days. I'll be there this week Wed to Sat. Looking forward to the trails with everyone.

Should be all moved in by the 3rd week in December. No ideal what work schedule I will have a first but I will keep in touch. Not sure about a tour, everything is hard hat area at this time but I will see what can be done.
