WTB: HP Dana 30 with 4.10 gears

I bought a 2wd XJ that I am in the process of switching to 4x4. It came with 4.10 gears and I need a matching front axle.

I will be taken a LP d30 out of a 99 TJ with 4.10 gears. sometime next week if your intrested.

I would be interested if the price is right but I hate to go to a lp30.

what's wrong with low pinion? i run a lp 30 with zero issues.

The way the gears are done in a hp30 causes them to be ~25% stronger than a lp30. I would prefer to have the stronger front axle so I can wheel it without worrying about breaking an axle. The hp30 and 8.25 29 spline are a good match when it comes to strength.

Thanks for the offer but I am going to hold out for a D30. I should be able to find one with 4.10s in it for less than $150. If not, I have a nice 8.25 and hp30 with 3.55s here that I can just swap in or regear to 4.56.
