Hello to one and all. I'm a newbie all the way around, both to offroading and to Utah. I did some my homework and settled on a 1998 XJ, which I think has a very good start to being a very solid rig. I ran into a NAXJA member this last weekend and he told me about this site. Seems to be a great site with involved members and lots of experience and knowledge. I look forward to getting to know the group.

Moved here from Reno NV. Went with a friend on two trails one called four dice the other is well know the rubicon. That's what got me hooked.

If you are in a red '98 with D60s, then you ran into ME :eeks1: Spreading the word of NAXJA throughout the lands. Once you get some longer brake lines and shocks, that thing's flex will blow your mind.
There is indeed a plethera of knowledge on the board. Make sure you do as much searching as you can, as most of what you need to know is probably covered in a thread already.
It is good to have you on board!

If it's the 98 with 60's that I saw on KSL a few months ago than that thing is sweet. nice find.

I passed that thing on the freeway a couple nights ago. Hard to miss that 60 when coming up on him from behind.

Nice ride! That was me in the white XJ that passed you the other night just as we were driving under the overpasses there at Lagoon (in case you were wonderin' :D). I was trying not to drool too hard.

Welcome to NAXJA.
If possible, you should come to the Meet & Greet on Feb 12 at Cabelas in Lehi (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1021146).
Plan on stopping by the DATC 4x4 show March 20.
Where are you at in Kaysville?

Yes I saw you pass me in the white jeep. Nice looking rig you have. I pointed you out to my wife wondering if you were a part of NAXJA. I hope to get to know people and their rigs well enough to acknowledge each other when I'm out and about.

Yeah, I saw the meet and greet and I plan on coming, I wish it wasn't so far south but I understand having read some of the posts about meet and greets. Looking forward to meeting those who attend. I may not have looked around enough yet but what is the DATC 4x4 show? And where is it? I'm just south of the new Boondocks.
