Finally put my 35s on to my 92 MJ...

I've had these tires sitting in my garage for almost a year now, just waiting on a smokin deal on the 17" wheels to be able to run 'em. I picked up a set of 5 for $200! They are alloys, been beat up a fair amount, but still all nice and sound. They where painted black. I decided to paint them silver and I'm glad I did.

These things look huge on the computer. They look pretty big in real life but not as exaggerated as on here. They make my brakes look puny. But that's part of why I wanted the 17s, for a custom big brake upgrade that I am planning. A bit on the blingy side, but with the rattle can, I can easily touch it up.

Didn't loose any side wall size, going from 33s with 15s to 35s with 17s, so that's atleast a wash. They ride great, better then the 33s by a long shot, not sure why.

Anyhow, hope you like.

They look very nicely done, especially in the silver. The pics do make those rims and tires look huge though, I don't know why.

Find some center caps and newer style rear flares and that would be my dream MJ. I've always wanted a white '92 on 35's. Looks amazing!

Looks really good Jake.
Almost makes the MJ look small but tons of ground clearance.
Very nice man!!!

Thanks for the compliments folks! They are borderline blingy, that's for sure. But the 35s makes up for it :greensmok

I am looking for center caps for it too, looks a bit funy without them. And I do plan on putting some different flares on the back end. Thinkin about the Rustys rear rigid flares, painted to match the truck.

I still need to do my rock rails and skids which might make it not look so tall. I swear, if I was a street poser, I could run 37s on this thing! I need to go though and make sure my bump stops are set up right before I go play, but with as much clearance as I had with the 33s, I don't think there are gonna be any issues. No rubbing so far, though I've only flexed it a little.

I almost bought an MJ on 35s. It was kinda beat up, salvage title and he wanted like $5000 for it.
I went wheeling once with an MJ on coilovers and 44s. The thing was gigantic.
I think your MJ on 35s looks perfect, if I could get my hands on one I'd go with 35s too.

I just saw it, looks better in person. I really love those front fenders, I wish they'd just make the flares too.
