Rough Countrys are nice and new from there webpage they are $189. Good luck with your search. I just installed some and they are more then worth the money for the quality of ride I got on the freeway.
If I see any ill let you know.

They do actually come with the support bracket. Here is a parts list.
1-Dr control arm drop brkt
1-Pa control arm drop brkt
1-Dr upper control arm brkt
1-Pa upper control arm brkt
1-Dr RCX bracket brace
1-Pa RCX bracket brace
1-1627 poly bag
Also Trailmaster and another company started making drop brackets a decade ago and they never used braces and later on they did start selling them separately. As far as NEEDED no there really not, unless you are beating the crap out of your rig or jumping curbs daily..

thanks for the input I am looking for strong ones that I wont have to worry about when wheeling my rig this summer as I need to save for the long arm kit but there is so so so much more the jeep needs before the long arms.

The Rough countrys do have a bracket. The Rubicon express DBs bracket is just longer. I think thats the confusion.. The Rough country bracket goes about 5" back, where as the RE's go all the way back to the Crossmember IIRC?

The time we went to goat mt. last year I told you that your drop brackets were bending back and forth. (You said ) Ya I know they do that. But it looks like you removed them and still ripped a chunk of your frame off.

Imo (I have rcx drops) any of the drop brackets are going to fail over time and beating them. All they do is make the lever longer to do more damage. I didn't even waste my time installing the flimsy brace kit but my rig is a mall krawler so it don't matter to me. If your going to upgrade to long arms anyway just buy cheep drops and save your money for the long arm kit. You could even buy cheep and add the re style brace to them if you want (if you can do some basic fab work)
