WHAT A DBAG.....teach your kid how to drive first before you give him the keys and the drivers seat.

I learned to do a stick when I was 13.

Yup. It's more the parents fault. Some people should be removed from the gene pool.

Not only did my dad teach me how to drive a stick, he taught me respect of the equipment - something this kid's father never had to pass on in the first place. Entire family is a total waste of space.

$50,000 for anything with the name Shelby that isn't at least 30 years old in waaaaaay too much.

example:

Even then - it's still a FORD :puke:

Thats a much nicer car though.

A classic is a classic even if it is a four letter F word

Good thing they videotaped it and put it on the internet. Now they are sure to have their insurance cover it...

Fixed.

PS- That's no Shelby, it's a replica. The exhaust isn't rihgt (should have those trumpets sticking out of holes in the valance penel and no bumperettes), also looks to be equipped as a GT-350H (by the quarter windows and wheels) but it's painted the wrong color (should be black with gold stripes)

From mustangmonthly.com:

"The majority of '66 Hertz Shelbys were Raven Black, per Peyton Cramer's original proposal. However, Kopec adds that some 200 were other Shelby GT350 colors, with approximately 50 each in Candyapple Red, Sapphire Blue, Wimbledon White, and Ivy Green Metallic. All had the gold stripes."

I saw this one in the pits at the Monterey Historics this year:

Did more damage to the house than the car. The body on that car is much easier to replace than that same car 40 years ago now.

Did more damage to the house than the car.

My thoughts exactly. The biggest damage (other than the garage) is a bruised ego.

If you can spend that kind of money for a flashy sports car, i doubt you're going to call your insurance company to fix a mishap that minor/stupid.

You're the expert. I stand corrected  A FORD's a FORD as far as I know. That was just a quick Google search.

I never tracked FORD (or GM for that matter) but I have a real beef with the recent trend to use classic names to foist off modern crap on an unsuspecting younger generation.

The way chit is built these days, you drive clean through the house and take more damage from the settee in the parlor than from the house, itself.
