2000 XJ Classic AC Problem

I'm sure this has been discussed before but my AC seems to be running cold and all of sudden stop and blow warm air. This happens frequently. Anyone know how I can fix this?

you are freezing up, and this is pretty common if you run the ac on the highest setting, turn the ac down a little, and turn the fan up on hi, and this will help this problem.

All manufactures have had problems with this over the years, my crown, jeep and new chevy all have this problem if you run the ac on max, or all the way over for too long with out having the fan on hi, i just learned to turn it down, and it would not freeze up so much.
