so a month ago my 91 xj started bogging down all at once and pulling the wheel, on the freeway. when i pulled over the drivers front rotor was glowing red. so i took the tire off and tapped on the caliper put back together and no more problem. since when i step on the brake it pulles from one side to the other while stopping. Tonight same thing happened only right side front glowing red. did both my calipers go bad and maybe sticking or could it be something else. afraid to drive to work tomorrow.

Maybe master Cylinder return port plugged. That`s what happened to mine. Took along time to figure that one out after replacing everything an couple times.

Same thing was happening to me and I replace both front calipers and discs. I didnt run the new calipers for too long since I upgraded to WJ stuff but I think that was the problem.

Once your rotors glow red, they are most likely warped and will never stop smoothly. Pull the calipers off, check the pistons for free movement. Check the caliper bolts for wear. Replace bolts and calipers on both sides if one side is bad. Clean off sliding surfaces with a file or wire brush. Use high temp grease on the sliders and bolts.
