i have a 94 2 door automatic, need front driveshaft, well found one out of a 97 4door automatic, but he said his has a slip yoke going into the case, mine does not, any ideas?

Shouldn't. The slip part is on the shaft near the front yoke. The stock Front driveshaft is basically (maybe slight variation depending on trans) the same from 84-01.

It must be a rear shaft then, no NP231's have slip yokes on the front outputs.
