So fullsizers are not for us. Something about 10 rear shocks, 4 steering stabilizers and more chrome then a Harley dealership just doesnt look right...
All the mixing of huge chrome lifts with 22" rims, stupid audio equipment, dolphin murals painted on the tail gate, and the flowmaster exhaust that every fullsize has just gets sickening....

My best buddies fire chief sent him these photos and even though I hate the above stated things about fullsize trucks I have to give this one some credit...So yea its a Silverado with an Escalade conversion, yea its got stupid amounts of chrome but...
In dedication to the firefighters on 9/11 and the heros of our war I show absoulte respect for the idea of this show truck...

Just goes to show...

Showing respect has nothing to do with tacky and tasteless...

Somebody made some money off that guy...

and how the hell do you wind up wth Gen.Eisenhower (?),Einstein, JFK, former mayor Giuliani, a pair of camels and GW in the same panel?

wtf?

or is that MacArthur between Albert and Kennedy's head?

Well sorry fellas for reposting something that you all think is junk..I just think that atleast the painting is incredible...Maybe the idea is tacky and the truck itself is a little queer but for the people who painted that I give them a lot of credit

and ECKSJAY I could't agree with you more about bandwagon patriots..it pisses me off that it took an attack on our home turf for people to put out American flags and hang those poser ribbon magnets on their cars...

Sure its just as nice a paintjob now as it was back then. And it shows great spirit. It would be nice if it was not just a bastardization of a cause for his own benefit though. Meaning he charges for it to be at shows and doesn't give a dime to charities, victims of 911 or their families. In other words, he's using that tragedy and the memories and anti-terroristic American patriotism for personal gain...

The Cadillac trucks only came as a rebadged Chevy Avalanche. That rig has a full bed, seperate from the cab. Simple enough put an Escalade front clip on the Silverado.

if you see in my original post it says a Silverado with an Escalade conversion....a lot of people do it..its like putting a Navigator front on an f-150...now there is no need because of the Mark LT but when the Navi came out I saw so many 150s converted

There's probably over $50K in bling blings put into that truck.

Think of all the hungry starving children in Nimbawe-Wanda-Noohooboobia who could now have full bellies if they had sent the money to them instead.

There is way more than 50k into that truck and it was in trucking magazine a long time ago.

lol, we have our own problems here like poor, starvation, etc. that should be taken care of first before we extend our arms to places that won't be able to defend us or help us in a time of war.

It was at the Chicago World of Wheels last Jan., paint and body work was beyond exellent. I don't know where the procedes for showing the truck go (I'd guess they're used to haul the thing from show to show), but they do sell shirts and other souveniers and I though the procedes from those were donated.
